Located approximately at 8715 No. Tyndall Avenue, a fixed microphone, 20 feet from the ground on a PGE power pole with the instrumentation box mounted below.

This location was chosen from an original sampling of three potential sites.  It is the best representative for the property line of closest residence to the track.  This was balanced with the need to have enough distance from Columbia Blvd. & Argyle Way to reduce ambient traffic noise that may cause a miscalculation of the sound reading.
